The Federal Government of Mexico is handing over territory to a Canadian mining company that practices open pit mining, and we are fighting to prevent them from setting up in Veracruz. The UCISV-Ver requests and the IAI supports, decisively and with all of your heart that you help them obtain signatures from the citizens of your country to stop these imperialistic projects that only result in death.

Dear comrades,

We highlight that the Federal Government of Mexico is handing over territory to a Canadian mining company that practices open pit mining. These mines are eco-cides and we are fighting to prevent them from setting up in Veracruz, as they destroy life, contaminate water, air, the earth, and only leave behind death. In light of this consideration, our members of UCISV-VER  request and the IAI supports, decisively and with all of your heart that you help them obtain signatures from the citizens of your country to stop these imperialistic projects that only result in death.
However, download the file “Solidaridad internacional, no a la minera Caballo Blanco, (Mexico, 2012, EN).doc,” add to it country and date (put Buenos Aires, to give an example) and send. I believe that you will help this fight and I hope that you help more than three hundred citizens from your respective countries endorse our request of cancelling the Caballo Blanco mining project.

Ciao in solidarity,

Cesare

Finally, we have 20 working days (i.e., by 2/15/12) for the collection of signatures. Please send them as attachments to the inbox of Gullermo Rodriguez memofcoc@yahoo.com.mx , so that they are passed along to the environmental authorities of Mexico, which today are complicit with the Canadian miners. With your support we will be able to achieve preventing the installation of the eco-cidal Caballo Blanco mine in Veracruz.
